Foil assist with 6384/6374 Flipsky, wings (full set) and electronics selection

Hello,
my friend asked to find wings/set for him, he interesting in (universal) foil assist build based on 6384/6374 Flipsky waterproofed motor for 3-5 months trip between 5 countries in Asia (for use on foil, supboard and kayak). His weight ~85kg.

He can’t take/buy efoil or board due long trip between 5+ countries. Daily rent of subboard/foil on planned locations is 25-35$+ per day so his choice to buy own set and take in luggage motor + esc and must + fuselage + wings. He not sure about board at this moment, maybe inflatable Gong or he will buy on the place.

We have Flycolor 150A and Seashark 200a ESC, and looks like any remote could work with them. The 6-20A/h lifepo4 battery under question because most air companies restricts more than 15 separate elements (but 16 required for 48v lifepo4 build). We already find battery build services on final country.

What wings we need for foil assist build, as I know that must be wings with HA ratio? What the minimum required for ~85kg beginner? I found a lot of wings like Axis ART v2 999 but they all to expensive, so we looking for some “middle” aspect wings and sets (budget is 400-600EUR for set).

I found very cheap (only for 100EUR) F-ONE FW IC6 950 V3 front wing - is it small for such build?

We also found cheap full sets from Aztron (and they common on ebay/Ali for ~300USD in Asia area, or even used for ~200USD), like

but I’m not sure about their quality because found some comments that their wings brakes very quickly and they also not HA

Update: he has HA wings!

Axis sets is too expensive, over 400EUR for one wing and 1200EUR+ for full set.

I was absent on forum for 2 years and very confused with selection right now

If you’re just starting out, I’d totally go for this model: Naish Carbon Foil System.

You can pick the size that vibes best with your buddy’s style.

Oh, and btw, they’ve got a non-carbon version that’s easier on the wallet. :rocket:

Buy used Axis off Facebook. I got a full PNG1150 setup for £650. There loads of other used deals about…

I bought direct from Gong for the curve xl set and 85cm mast. Very nice and the mast has enough room to put the 3 phase wires plus water hose if you need. Gong has a big choice to mix and match if and when you want to fit a different wing or stab.

Just checked available electronics components I have and which I need, and wondered if I’m correctly calculating all components.
Have questions regarding config:

    100A working current for VESC is total for motor+battery OR max for one each of them?
    Seems Makerbase 75100 will fit my config at all?
