New domainname? efoil.builders <> foil.zone

So… Will foil.zone be the new domain / tld for us to use?

Yes. foil.zone will be the primary domain going forward and we will keep the efoil.builders domain working as well. The plain https://efoil.builders url (without additional path) is redirecting to the efoil.builders category, top-left logo will change from zone to builders and it should feel similar to before. All other efoil.builders links to posts, images, … should continue to link to the correct content, just the domain is remapped to foil.zone.

You will notice that clicking the efoil.builders icon will go to the efoil.builders category home, not the foil.zone home. We will see how convenient that is. When outside the efoil.builders categories the foil.zone logo takes you to the main foil.zone home. We are thinking about adding an additional home icon (next to the search icon) to quickly jump to the top level from all places.

And thanks to those who got this rolling. I was a reader (but never a builder of efoil.builders) Hopefully we all add a ton of foil info from the surf and wing side. And also, hopefully I’ll get my nerve up to build an efoil finally.

Super stoked to be here and am awed, as a maker, at the skills and open attitude of the members of this site.

In fact, the images that were posted under efoil.builders domain are not remapped to the foil.zone domain due to a path error. Thus, they don’t display.
Example here : MAST extension for internal ESC

The image address that doesn’t display is still: https://efoil.builders/uploads/default/original/2X/3/3e20264f544ed450595ee115102732e96528194b.png

The same picture reposted has the following structure::
https://foil.zone/uploads/default/original/3X/6/c/6cab451ab90f96053e5e1560adcaa70c452380be.jpeg

Hmmm I don’t see missing images in the thread and both image links you posted work for me. What exactly is not working for you?

Old images are working fine for me too

Thanks guys. The problem is on my browser. The “old” images are filtered on Firefox but aren’t on Chrome. Most probably, an extension problem. I will disable them one by one to find the culprit.
