Box is made by my dad. Full carbon, and perfect fit for the Fliteboard.
Cells are Samsung 50S, nickel is 0,2mm and connectors are named SurLok (made by amphenol)
The pack itself is made by @Pjotr

Buying cells that have high current capabilities arent really necesarry in higher parralel configurations, but it does help extend the life time since you are only asking very little from the cell.
How are you reaching over 40km/h with 10S? That seems very unlikely. Most people I know can just reach 40km/h when the battery is fuly charged, and they run a 12S.
That’s what I wanted to hear, but can I ask based on your experience which cheaper 5000mAh cells are good? For example, the Tenpower 50sg or the DMEGC 50-e? I would like some advice on purchasing in Europe because I sent back the EVE 40p 4000mAh.
If I’m going 30 I just pull the trigger in further. Why would I lie about this?
I’m not saying you are lying, but 40kmh is very fast on 10S. What is your setup?
Sure feels like it on my end!![]()
Conversation over for me. Ignore ON
I have a very similar setup to @Foilguy
Same 10s11p reclaimed pack from batteryhookup (no longer available)
A Fliteboard, 75200 vesc, fliteboard prop. Gong 1350cm2 wing(forget which one) or F-one phantom 1280
I would have to go through old logs for some max speed data, but I think 40kph/25mph feels possible. Probably comes down to what Flite prop can do on 10s
Lol okay, you do you buddy ![]()
I have same setup as foilguy and on 12s for sure I was able to go over 40kmh using a core 1200cm2 wing. I now run 10s as we got a great deal on these packs. I have not tried again to go 40kmh but the throttle feels same as 12s and easily run 35 and I have no desire to go faster anyway. A higher pitch prop could be used if more speed is the goal.
I run a gong curve L and I think for more contraol at speed an M would be better. I have the xl and xxl and dont use them anymore.
Samsung 50s Could you tell me a good-priced 21700 battery supplier in Europe besides NKON?
Get the Reliance RS50’s from NKON, they are really good.
9€ 1 battery ?configuration 8p = 560 Amp!! Is Very big . I have conflicting opinions on this. They tell me to go between 10 and 20 amps per cell = 160Amp for an 8p configuration. Don’t you think the same as me?
You wont draw 560A.
What kind of battery do you want to build?
That’s exactly what I mean. I’d like to build either a 12s 8p or a 10s 10p, and I’m wondering why I should buy 21700 cells with 70A high discharge like the ones you mentioned? If the 65220 or 65161 motor has the following characteristics: * Rated Current: 60 A @50V;Maximum Current: 100A @30V.
I would like some more clarification. I know someone who uses a foil with LG batteries in a 12s 6p configuration with a 7070 motor with INR21700 5000 mAh 15A batteries that flies over 1 hour. Doing a similar configuration perhaps 12v 8p what should I worry about?
I agree. I misunderstood you. When running an 8P, you won’t need them for sure. But you do stress them less hard, and they last really long. Pajda did some 1000+ cycles on the Reliance RS50’s and they do an amazing job. I paid like 250€ for 70pcs at NKON with shipping so not too bad. Will be making a 16S4P soon.
