Weak power flipsky 65161, FSESC7200, max 32A

Hey guys, could you please look at my settings, I have performance promises. The set is: Flipsky 65161, Flipsky FSESC7200 and lipo battery 12S - 50V. The motor does not run at full power in the water, maximum 32A on the controller. Please do not know what I should change in the settings??? Thank you very much, best regards, Lukáš Zajacz, Czech Republic. I will try to upload photos of the setup here.

Well, what do you expect if your settings Battery current max - 10 amps?

OK, I’ll put 180A there. Thank you.

Adjust the “battery current max” to the power you expect it to be. For 12S, I suppose 80 ou 100A should be ok.

do you mean battery current max?

Yes he does

I dont know your weight, Board or anything but try

Motor current: 160a
Abs Max Motor current: 200a

Battery current 100a

All negative (braking) can bei Set to Low value Like -5

If you cannot get flying increase Motor current by +10a. Always keep around 30-40a distance to Abs Max current

I have it set and I’m going to try it at the lake. I’ll let you know then. thank you all for the answer.

so still only 32A max.

Did you write it to the vesc with arrow down next to the M icon at the right hand side?

Yes. I checked that too.

What are the cells and how many i parallel? Is there a bms or direct?

Could be a number of things, to be checked
-Too large propeller, which duty cycle and rpm do you reach?
-Level settings in remote
-Remote calibration
-To small battery current capability, what is the voltage drop under full throttle?
-Wrong rpm/erpm settings, which erpm do you reach, how many poles are set?
-Wattage setting too low

I have a Flipsky vx3 controller, a 12-cell serial lipo-50.4V battery. Flipsky vx3 controller mode - HIGH. I don’t have a BMS and the propeller is from Flying rodeo, for the flipsky and maytech engine.

So far so good, what about the unanswered questions?
do you reach 100% throttle in vesc tool?
What is max power setting?
What is pole setting?

If these are ok you’ll need to show log data to come further.

motor poles 4, max power 6000w, gas shows almost 100%. But there will probably be a problem with connecting the receiver or with its settings. PPM mode worked but did not display telemetry. so I connected the UART cable, but instead of 5V I have a 3.3V receiver.

I’ll try it tomorrow in PPM mode with a simple 3 pin cable.
And now I’m looking at the internet, the number of poles should be about 6, right?

Yes, 6 but it won’t matter, only if you are close to erpm limits.

With four poles, 100k erpm the esc will allow 50krpm, that’s enough

Do you have stable rpm when throttling in water or do you get cutouts?

the revolutions are beautifully smooth, without defects
