I bought it over eBay
Now I’m nearly finished with my build I programmed the flier esc made the box waterproof and did solder the cables (just need to solder them to the motor) btw I will go foiling on Saturday.
Finally IM DONE COMPLATLY! ONLY YOU GUYS GOT ME SO FARE Special
THANKS TO @MatWish me luck for tomorrow.
First wet test went fine in the pool just had some problems with the remote (gave throttle when it was on 0 postion) went up do 20amps then I couldn’t hold it anymore.
Thanks to all reading my text.
Good luck ! Let us know how it went ! Also, are you logging any info ?
Thanks no I don’t log any data I have a screen where I can read it. I will go test it on one hour at 7° Celsius in AUSTRIA. IT WILL GET COLD.
Ok Quick summary WHAT happend:
I DID IT I FLEW OVER THE WATER!!!
WHAT HAPPENED:
first tried the 3d printed prop (100amps low speed)
Then tried a aluminium prop(lift off and at 60amps gliding)
Then tube came off of the watercooling and in pumped WATER inside . Display went off and then I new WATER was inside.
Flier esc…Ok
Pump…Ok
Batteries… Not sure yet but looks ok
Display with ampmeasure thing… had black screen so I think it’s damaged.
Motor… Ok
Reciver…Ok
Overall: I’m very happy that I did it and my feeling of the lift off was insane, now I need to test and fix everything and then next year summer will be fun.
Thanks guys for helping me that far and guiding me. Just ask me if you have any questions left.
My build now continues. As I don’t like the concept with the 80100 motor I will switch to a waterproof flipsky 120kv inrunner with a flying rodeo prop. As I have enough time now to work calm on this project I think I will make everything safer and better. Currently we have -1 degrees and ice in the lake so I won’t be able to test it.
Any suggestions?
Hi Felix!
I decide also to build, next to my 63100 a mast/masclamp/duct configuration with an Flipky 65161.
So i can easy switch between my two systems.
I finish my hole work now in Fusion 360.
PErhaps you want use something from me?
