Using the strap won‘t help. Please invest some some and read the posts, at least about products you try to sell.
This forum is full of information including pictures. People of the forum are using the products and they do fail, especially waterproof remote controllers.

No it is not waterproof out of the box , but it can be easily , the problem reported is more about quality of the signal for those remote …
