Inflatable board MALA my second project

Base distance fabric is Woven double layer fusion DoubleWall (dropstitch), and third layer can be glued carbon

On my carbon model I encountered a detachment forming a bubble under the carbonā€¦ Have you had any other feedback on this subject?

Which part it happen? Send me more photos of problem please. It can be close air buble during production, or something happend with carbon layer.

So, i ask some peoples and they are interested to buy an Inflatable.
So the price will be interesting!

I think itā€™s more a problem of delamination of the carbon layer.

The game of 4 differences ā€¦!!!:rofl:alors? Who will find the fourth?

Good afternoon foil riders

I am Sebastiaan from belgium and I am 20 years old. From when I was young I always liked to do watersports, its a passion of meā€¦

After a year of working in thoirette at the river, I saw Manu many times on the Mala board.
Now I am back in thoirette to make a board like Manu because it was love at the first moment I saw him floating on the water.
But sadly they are only 10 boards of the Mala and I was wondering If someone can make a prototype. It doesnā€™t need to be exactly the same, but on the whimsifoil site I saw a good board, but i dont like the colour. If someone can help me out with the board, I can become a foil rider like you Guys :ok_hand:

Hi ive already sent a message, but everytime I read new things and do I understand it right, that you have Made a board like a mala?

Ill drop you a PM. I have a few brand new inflatable boards.

Hi, do you have a drawing of the dimensions of the board opening? Are they the same as the MALA?
Thanks

They are different to Mala. I combined the best of Fliteboard and Lift when I designed them.

inflatable 1
Inflatable 2

Dimensions are: 150x62.5x12cm

I do have drawings and 3D models for the hatch insert as was always planning to sell them complete, however I donā€™t think I have the time to complete the hatches at the moment.

Hi jezza

It would be very Nice If you like to share the 3D designs you made for the accubox so I can copie the files?

The cutout looks like this:

350x660mm

stupid that die cutout is not a rectangle :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

and the price is?

Not at all stupid if you knew the design reasons for having it like thatā€¦

If you have a rectangle cutout the rear of the board has to be wider meaning more contact with the water making it slower and harder to release onto the foil. Additionally with a well designed battery, the hatch can still house a 14s14p battery and all other electronics. Yes it might make it more complex for a DIY project, but the boards were initially never intended for thatā€¦

The price is similar to Mala.

But not when you dou it like i

I like the design of the board, but I am searching for the same dimensions as the mala. So If there is someone else that can help me out to start my project it would be appreciatedā€‹:crossed_fingers::pray:

Which dimensions are those?

You are referring to something completely different here. It seems to be a design flaw around crashingā€¦

Iā€™m referring to board shape, hydrodynamics and initial release of the board off the water and onto the foil.
