Are there fellow forum users interested in making a tow boogie while sharing design/parts and knowledge?

Placed the batteries in a heavy duty plastic bag. I have a white plug in which the power wire can pass through.

I wanted a battery with good durability (cycle life) for plenty of tow boogie sessions, so I used li-ion cells rather than lipos. The cells I’m using are Molicel P42A, bigger form factor 21700 cells, which are a high current cell with a long rated life of 500 cycles at 10A discharge to reach 80% capacity. I didn’t want to be throwing away a puffy lipo prematurely, and I’ve seen ratings for the Tattu lipos at aro…
So I started out set to build a DIY Foil Assist when I came across these forums researching for the build and when I saw Valhalla’s, Jatem’s and a few other peoples “Tow Boogies” I had to build one. I was planning on building a 12s8p pack with P42a’s that I have when I came across a guy selling a burned up E-foil that sold me all his electronics for super cheap which included a 12s16p battery made with 18650’s that was in good condition minus the BMS was toast. I’d definitely buy a 3d printer and some petg. Sort the whole forum by most viewed and read some threads all the way through. See what you like and what works or not.

by petg do you mean XPETG? I think I saw UV resistant one
I will release my files and Info when I am convinced it is stable enough. By stable I mean choppy conditions and corners :))

Great! Thank you!
Maybe if it fails It could be good to know the design. This way we may know what does not work so we don’t try it again

Just normal petg is what I use, I think the UV resistance is enough.
