Awesome thanks @ludwig_bre I have got the motors spinning now! Very happy, and winter is almost over for us in NZ. After updating the Rx PWM values to those you mentioned, and auto-calibration of the ESCs, throttle values are now 1241/1828 & 1237/1821. Should I leave them like that or set them the same, both values at 1239/1825 ? Thanks so much for your help and everything you’ve put into this.
Happy to hear!
I would leave them like that, it’s not a big difference and there may actually be a little tolerance between both outputs or both ESCs.
For those who have a Bremote v2 set up already with two outrunner motors confirm which ESC’s they are using? I have had some difficulties with my ESCs (Castle) on the Bremote v1 and would love to get it right first time this time. I’m tempted by the Sequre 200a ESC’s with BLHeli. Does anyone have that set up and working with Bremote v2?
Many thanks in advance.
Yes, works perfect.

Great. Thanks for answering.
If I were starting over I’d buy the Sequre/Flipsky 12200 ESC and the Flipsky 6384 Waterproof outrunners. There is also another chat on this website suggesting Flipsky will soon release the WP14200, a waterproof version of the 12200 ESC, but expanded to 14S Sequre Developing a Waterproof ESC – Features & Feedback Welcome
Small update on Tx: The “ECH” message has a timeout now.
If you dont have a charger connected and “ECH” shows up just wait 5s, then it will disappear again
If you have a charger connected and this happens, make sure the contacts are clean. Otherwise contact me for help.
Perfect, thank you!
Hi all,
Did anyone get a “no log file output” error when trying to flash the tx for the first time? I used the tx.ino.merged file and initially tried address 0x10000 and then read the updated post above and amended it to 0x0 but I get the same error.
Thanks.
In the picture is still says 0x10000 offset
Can you provide a updated screenshot?
Also I think there should be more information after the [ERROR]: …
Check if you can make the window bigger to see this information
The “no log file output” is normal btw, I also have this
Also the “ESP8266 loader” is a bit suspicious
Double check you selected “ESP32-C3” in the first window that opens when starting the flash tool
Thanks!

Any chance you have any software open that blocks or interferes with UART?
Already opened the serial terminal in the browser? Or some 3d printer software maybe? Arduino IDE?
Looks to me like the flash tool is not allowed to access the COM Port (driver)
Also you may try another USB port?
Update:
I could recreate the error by already connecting with another tool to the same COM port:
So please make sure no other tools have COM port / UART access to the same port
Hi Ludwig,
It is alive! I had arduino open connected to com4. Once that was closed it worked. Do all the below look as you would expect?
From watching your build video, it looks like my LED monitor is not fully displaying the codes. It looks like I should be seeing EC or EP but I’m only getting the above. Is there anything to look at to see if I can fix the screen?
That is interesting.
Next steps:
- Connect with the serial terminal, turn remote off and on and share with me all code that was output there
- Remove top PCB again and send an image of how the bottom (solder joints) looks like
Will do. Is it OK to disconnect the connecting ribbon to the top PCB with the battery attached?
Yes, thats ok, just make sure to pull it straight in and out
Here the output via serial terminal. The display on the screen looks to be the charging one but missing the end.
