New Direct Drive Inrunner 65150

I can receive discounts from different companies for my long and hard work on my YouTube channel , but you are wrong with me, I will never lie about reviews because this is lying to oneself. And I’m not the only one who can make reviews.

I asked Eileen if Reacher and Maytech are the same motor and she said no, but the motor is not made by me, I think is better you ask this question to Eileen. I’m only interested testing this motor and compare with my past efoil systems.

Thank you virus for you feedback about this motor. can’t wait to see your datas

Haha, I never said you lie about your outcomes and I agree you work hard on your YouTube channel.
The different context simply means that sometimes, some people can be biased of there’s an incentive involved.
If you look at the two motor casings, you can see that they are manufactured by the same company. It is possible that reacher is purchasing from a different manufacturer as well.
I am very interested to see the results from that motor. I have been riding the flying rodeo direct drive which has plenty of power even at 12S. It’s slightly wider and shorter than this motor.

On May 16, I negotiated a custom motor with Eileen.
Days later, she literally wrote me: “we will start to make windings today”.
I don’t know if this motor is really winding by Maytech, I think yes but I live in Spain, I’m not a chinese spy :grimacing:, I only can say that my order was for a custom motor. 100kv and 5000W Maytech

Hi MauiMan, do you know if the back of the motor where the wires come out is waterproof / sealed?
Has anyone tried this at all yet?

MTI65162-100:
18N/6P
Voltage: 6-40S
KV (RPM/V): 100
Current @8.4V without Loading: 1.5A
Max power: 9800W
Peak Current: 300A
Efficient: 98%
Max Torque @ 60% : 10N.M
Rating Power: 8900W
Weight: 2.5kg
Diamention: 65mm *161.5mm
Wire length: 300mm including connectors
Connnector: 6.5mm

KV can be customized. Direct drive efoils use low KV; Some non-direct drive efoils and jetboards need high KV.

In addition, our company haven’t had any cooperation with Reacher.

Can you repeat those tests for the specs listed:

Your diagram only shows 8Nm peak and maximum 4.5kW…thats not even close to your rated 8.9kW
Also given 100KV means your test was run at around 60V, so only around 75A.
Can you show same diagrams for your rated current (which is probably far below peak current) and rated power?!

Also would be nice to see your claimed efficiency in the numbers.
98% sounds like a huge lie, looking at your diagram with peak efficiency of 83% confirms this guess…

So this motor is (originally) made for 15000RPM at 150V?

Because we tested it with our 300A ESC. In the picture, it’s both motor and 300A ESC efficiency.

So your ESC has losses of >15% ? :scream::scream:
You better don’t tell which ESC this is, otherwise you might not sell a single unit anymore…

Looks much more likely that it should be 89% efficiency and you are getting those at 150V and ~35A …which is still pretty nonsens for direct drive propeller.

But still I am looking forward to see test results, would be amazed to see 98% efficiency.

Eileen, I highly doubt you are manufacturing this motor. In fact I don’t think Reacher is either. I think you are both purchasing the motors elsewhere. The reason for this… well you both have the same schematics for the motors, the same specs and the only difference in pictures is the front cap near the shaft, but the sealing system is identical.

Maytech Schematic:

Reacher Schematic:

Maytech Rear Housing:

Reacher Rear Housing:

Maytech Front:

Now please tell us again that its not the same motor…

Hi Virus,

Did you happen to find time to test the motor? I am very curious what your findings are

Very happy with the first test. I only need less diameter of prop and test again.

Maybe a FR prop? :see_no_evil::hear_no_evil::speak_no_evil:

No, just less diameter in my prop, the motor works very well, silent and powerful, I only have a little cavitation.

What are your prop specs?

Motors look different on the outside to me.

How about the inside?

What you seeing besides the front screw on section that looks different to you?

What kind of esc do you use?
